Procedural Representation Service

We also offer Procedural Representation as a standalone service. We can act as your official representative before the Plant Variety Offices of the EU, in the UK, and in many other countries. We have extensive experience completing, filing and managing applications for Plant Variety Rights and Plant Breeders’ Rights, with breeders around the world working with us to protect their varieties.

For Plant Growers and Retailers

PFE offers a complete service to growers and marketers of new plants. We introduce new varieties every year, providing complete support for growing and marketing. We help growers to discover new varieties to refresh the market and make their own production stand out, including high resolution photography and storytelling for each new variety.

We have robust relationships with growers and nurseries across the world, from young plant growers to plant finishers and buyers.

About Us

Plants For Europe Limited (PFE) was founded by Graham Spencer over 20 years ago in the UK. Plants For Europe B.V. followed in 2019 as the business grew. Our goal? To provide the first truly independent pan-European breeders’ rights service for garden plants. We don’t grow plants commercially at PFE, and the business isn’t owned by growers or breeders.

PFE is ideally placed to work across the European market, including the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Ireland, Denmark and Poland. We also work with carefully selected breeders’ agents working in other territories around the world. With the breeder’s agreement, PFE is able to use this secure network of agents to enable licensing of plants in all the major markets, including the United States, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
